On Tuesday Sept 23rd, I'll be playing with three great cats: Randy Ingram piano, Marcos Varela bass, and Chris Brown drums. We'll be playing mostly originals and a few choice standards and this very fine New York Club. Plus, special guest Jon Heagle to sit on guitar!

08.07.08 | New Audio Samples
I have two new tracks in the listening section, "Reflections" by Thelonious Monk and "Countdown" by John Coltrane. This rhythm section, Steve Herberman on guitar, Eric Wheeler on bass and Nate Jollie on drums, is based out of Washington D.C. We recorded this at the Blue House in Silver Spring Maryland on July 26th.

Bryan Copeland bass, and Owen Howard on drums. This will be our first time working with Sheryl and Owen and we're very excited!

07.01.08 | Isosceles
Check out this new composition in the Listen section! The tune is called Isosceles and it was recorded live at the Banff Centre last month and features Danny Rameriz trumpet, Roy Guzman guitar, Joel Mateo drums (members of the Orbits Quintet based in Puerto Rico) and New York bassist Marcos Varela. with my quartet on Saturday June 7th 8:30 pm for a one-nighter at Carmen's de La Calle featuring guitarist Bruce Saunders, bassist Eric Revis and drummer Clyde Adams. 03.22.08 | Com Voce Spring mini tour
begins Friday March 28th at An Die Musik in Baltimore 8pm. We then head north to White Plains, NY and perform a concert at St. Barts 3/30 and onto New York City, opening for Jean-Michel Pilc Trio with Jeff Tain Watts at the 55Bar on 3/31 6pm. Maggie and I will be playing with guitarists Bruce Saunders who hails from Boston, drummer Kyle Thompson and electric bassist Chris Maresh both from Austin. It’s going to be a great mini tour so come on out!
