All the Things You Are | Straight Ahead
Here's something off my first album "Straight Ahead" from all the way back in 2000. This song features my dad who plays a beautiful introduction and solo. Mike Porter plays bass and Sacha Loukachine is on drums.



Chicago Calling | Straight Ahead
Johnny Griffin, who was a huge influence on me, composed this tune. James Polk replaces Joe Killian on piano.



Jake's tune
This is a Jake Owen special with producer/bassist Janek Gwizdala. Jake is a marvelous guitarist/composer/vocalist and all around good guy who lives down in Austin, TX. Kyle Thompson is on the drums. Janek chopped my sax part up pretty good and did some beautiful and weird stuff with it.

This “My Foolish Heart” excerpt is from an album called “Faces of the Bass” by Houston bassist Lex Valk. George Oldziey wrote the string arrangement.



Congeniality
This is a tune by Ornette Coleman played by the Phil Cunnef Quartet with me on tenor, Ben Frock on trumpet, Jeff Reed on bass, and Phil on drums.
